Francis Sketch

We were very sad to hear of the death of Francis on 19th February. He together with his beloved wife Sue were founder members of the ACA.  Many will remember him on our show entry table, he always had a welcoming smile and cheeky personality.  

He had been our Treasurer for many years and then became a valued member of our BAC, his knowledge of proceedings was unparalleled and I know he will be sorely missed. The saying that when someone dies a library is lost certainly applies to Francis. 

He and Sue bred many beautiful cats, and were very proud when Carolyn Clark’s Bombay, Gr Ch Hurtlepuss Black Adonis won Best Foreign at the Supreme one year.  In later life they showed the majestic Gr Pr Hurtlepuss Kipling, who we all grew to love. He won many BIS awards, including four BIS Selfs at our own show.

Our condolences go to his family, and he will be sorely missed by his friends.
